Estate planning attorney Sabrina Winters was born in New York and raised on Long Island. Her mother, a teacher, and her father, an engineer, emigrated from Italy and raised her with strong family values.
She graduated from The State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York, in 1992, and then from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan in 1998.
Shortly thereafter, she moved back to Long Island, New York where she began practicing Estate Planning, Probate and Administration, Medicaid Planning, Guardianships and Residential Real Estate with a solo practitioner. Here is where Sabrina gained invaluable experience that she now passes along to her clients.
In 2004, she and her husband Timothy decided to make a life changing move to Charlotte, North Carolina. They became proud parents of a rescue named Biscuit and then were blessed with their beautiful daughter a few years ago.
Sabrina is a wife, a mom to a beautiful, fun and care free little girl, and loves her dog, Biscuit, just like he was family. She wanted to have a career focused on the same family values she was raised with. Her passion is to bring awareness to women and their families of the importance of planning for their future. Working for a firm did not allow her to put first, what was most important to her…her family!
In 2005 Sabrina found the family, life and work balance she needed; she opened the doors to her own practice. Sabrina cares for clients as if they were family. She builds lasting relationships that stand the test of time. She understands that many women feel intimidated dealing with attorneys and she hopes to break down those barriers with her warm, unique personable approach. She has created a Legacy Planning strategy that is one which cannot be found with any firm in the area.
